Greg Scohier - Vocals, Keyboards

Greg Scohier

Born in Butler, Pennsylvania and now residing in Cumming, Georgia, Greg has 75 years of performing band experience. Beginning at the early age of eight, Greg's dad (a semi-professional musician) and Grandfather (a professional violinist) supported and encouraged him through lessons to play the piano. Additionally, Greg decided to join the Junior High Chorale, singing various parts and styles, allowing him to understand and learn the techniques of singing as a group.

Most musicians never forget their first band. At fourteen, TURTLE SWEET was Greg's first venture down the road of Professional Music. Their Rock tunes were a kid's dream and many of those keyboard "licks" are still around today.

Greg is a craftsman full-time, but still finds the hours to practice piano, organ, and synthesizer everyday, attending frequent band rehearsals, and teachimg himself banjo. Besides general parenting, Greg is teaching Michael, his son, the basics of keyboard, and predicts a protege is in the making.
