BANDWIDTH was formed in early 2004 in Atlanta, GA due to a common background of the musicians - technology professions and the need to play music. Ashley Vandiver, Brian Martin, and Wes Simons are the last remaining original band members. Larry Lysse came along shortly after the band was formed and has been with BANDWIDTH long enough to almost be an original member! Well let's just leave it that Larry is certainly original.
Since the inception of the band, BANDWIDTH has become a crowd pleaser with the goal of each show to get people dancing, singing and having a genuine fantastic time so they feel a part of the music we make! We play the songs people know, love and can't stop humming - from today's and yesterday's rock and pop, to country and golden oldies.
Each BANDWIDTH member brings a special personality to the show and all relish in the spotlight of the stage. Not a shy one in the bunch! Bandwidth's music is a collective mix of toe tapping oldies from some of music history's greats such as James Brown, The Beatles, Monkees and the smooth tunes of the Temptations and Commodores, to classic rock favorites like Journey, the Eagles, Rolling Stones, Free, and Boston (yes we said Boston). And of course the cross-over country pop of Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna, Gretchen Wilson and others are not forgotten in the Bandwidth mix. Other tunes echoed by Bandwidth include those of beloved Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, The Pretenders, Bon Jovi, The Romantics, and Pat Benatar to name just a few.
The BANDWIDTH style cannot be tied up in a pretty bow because there isn't a box that can hold our energy and personality. We come to rock, party, and ensure that the audience gets up on their feet and dances the night away!!
