Ashley "The Icing" Vandiver - Lead Vocals
Ashley earned this nickname because she is definitely "The Icing" on the BANDWIDTH cake. Once you hear her sing you'll know what we mean.
Ashley Vandiver, lead vocals and master egg shaker for BANDWIDTH, has been a stalker of the stage since the ripe age of five, enchanting audiences since she could hold a hair brush as a microphone and belt out the latest in TV commercials. Trained originally in opera and then later burgeoning into the world of pop rock and jazz, Ashley has never met a note or an instrument (or a cute guy playing one) she didn’t like. A psycho lover of all music, Ashley began her professional singing career in a Jazz & Blues band where she haunted audiences for over seven years as the “white girl” who could sing the blues. With idols ranging from Madonna to Bonnie Raitt to Chrissie Hynde to Joni Mitchell, Ashley is always looking for the next vocal challenge!
A born over communicator, in the “real world” Ashley is a marketing communications professional in the world of IT where she waxes lyrical all day about the next age of technology. A native Atlantan and a proud University of Georgia grad (GO DAWGS!), Ashley currently resides in the northeast suburbs of the city (not too OTP for you local folks) with her wonderfully patient and loving hubby, Webb, who is also a seasoned musician and the drummer of BANDWIDTH. Ashley revels in traveling anywhere and everywhere meeting new folks and, of course, hearing and playing music.
Current gear: Any microphone that happens to be on, and of course high heels!
